Rainy Day at the Market

It’s nice to see the rich and organic things they have at a farmer’s market.  You are always bound to find unique, quality things there.

My grandmother, mother, and I had a lady’s day out and decided to go to Winter Park’s Farmer’s Market the other Saturday since we hadn’t been there in a while.

After leaving the farmer’s market, we decided to walk around and check out the cute boutiques Winter Park has to offer.

Sadly, it rained down on us (typical Florida) and we decided to leave.  So long Winter Park, until our next visit.

Ciao,

Opa! I'm Going Greek

Not only does Tarpon Springs, Florida have a vast collection of sea sponges, but it also has the highest percentage of Greek Americans than any other place in the U.S.

Inside of a sponge shop (there was one sponge that amounted to over $200!)

My family and I make it a tradition to go there during winter break to indulge in traditional Greek food and walk around in Tarpon Springs’ very friendly atmosphere.

Hellas Bakery and Restaurant always seems to be our place to eat because of the phenomenal food and very friendly service.

Hellas has been around since 1970 and has a rich history as well as many awards for its authentic Greek cuisine and baked goods.

I had a really great time! Can't wait for my next visit!
